This year, I did not get a chance to watch The Simpsons Halloween special, but I had heard about this awesome spoof they did. The Simpsons spoof Mad Men. Sorry if you have seen this already…but I loved it so much I wanted to share it. Enjoy!

When MAD MEN returns for Season 3 sometime next year, it won’t be soon enough as the supply of worthwhile shows to watch on television dwindles down to a mere handful of choices.
With all the commotion and noise the election, the economic meltdown, the war and all the other things enough to make you go screaming into the night, The New 2009 Television Season has started with very little fanfare and even less attention. Given the competition for the average person’s attention for entertainment or otherwise, it makes sense that this year’s crop of potential hits are aren’t exactly setting the television landscape ablaze.
It will be a long time before we see another milestone in broadcasting that equals the quality of The Sopranos or the appeal of Sex and The City. Shows…
Rape. Child Abuse. Bigamy. Corporate intrigue. Professional envy. Spiritual rebirth. Divorce. Spousal Abuse. Last night’s episode of MAD MEN would make the trashiest paperback novel green with envy! The second to last episode of season two went deep into the dark side to be very telling for next week’s season finale and probably for the next few seasons to come.
Don Draper decided to go off on a tangent that he looks like he might not comeback from anytime soon.
This is an excellent example of how wrapping interiors bring a great resonance to an opportunity, where the tactic is equal to the unique value of the property itself, being promoted.

The latest episode of Emmy-award winning drama series MAD MEN kicked off with everyone preoccupied with the news of Marilyn Monroe’s death. Remember this is August, 1962.
Roger Sterling comes into his office to find Joan Holloway lying down on his sofa, teary and moping about her death. Roger was only sad about the fact that Joan wasn’t there waiting for him and a little afternoon delight.
Don Draper and his wife Betty are still on the outs as a result of her kicking his lying, cheating ass to the curb. After Don’s daughter Sally calls the office to find out when…
It seems really fitting that MAD MEN won a slew of creative Emmy Awards for Best Writing, Art Direction, Main Title Design, Outstanding Cinematography and Hairstyling. These are all a testament to the painstaking attention to detail that the creators of MAD MEN have invested in to present this period drama from an era, that most of it’s audience wasn’t even born yet.
I’m sure you’ve all seen this show, it’s been all over the news. It was on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, and why I think it was a subject of a blog post right here a few weeks back. Well, the new season premieres this week and because I’ve never watched the show, I decided I’d On Demand the first season. It is good. The critics are right and it does a fabulous job of glamorizing the “Golden Age of Advertising.”
However, I swear this show’s budget must be paid for by the tobacco industry. Nary a scene without a cigarette. Everyone is…
The AMC show MAD MEN is a great watch to give people a sense of the golden age of advertising way back in the day of Madison Avenue when the explosion of TV on America made some brands iconic pop culture that still resonates to this day. The second season of MAD MEN begins on Sunday, July 27 at 10 pm on AMC. If you haven’t seen the first season, rent it or go on-line to buy Season 1. It comes in the shape of an old flip top Zippo lighter. Very cool!
